AECP- Impressive Heat Embossing Lesson

Hi! I am here today with a fun card that I created for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. This card is my assignment for the Impressive Heat Embossing Techniques by Svetlana Marchenko.

This technique is all about using an embossing pad through your stencil to create a shiny background!

Here are some close-up photos for my card

Steps for making this technique

I secured Sketched Lines Stencil on my cardstock using magnets ( my desk board is magnetic ) or simply using a washi tape. I applied embossing ink through the stencil, then removed the stencil and sprinkled metallic embossing powder, and heat set it. I die cut a daisy flower using Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set. The paper I used to cut the flower was watercolor paper. I used watercolor markers to color it in a loose way using warm tone colors. I added stickles in the middle and splattered some gouache paints all over my card.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like it and get inspired! Check all the classes here
